I am not sure how many people know about this yet or not....

Today a young boy was kinapped from a bus stop here in Parrish, Florida
it just so happend that the incident occured right in MY neighborhood.!

Well he has been FOUND!!! Alive and safe. :carrot: :carrot:

Just wanted to share- I feel sooooo HAPPY now for his family...

Now they just need to catch the sick-o!! Lets pray that they do..

I heard about that! Right off the school bus. Do you know anymore details? Was anyone else on the bus? What did the bus driver do to stop this?

I'm glad he's safe.

What a dreadful experience for the families of these people.

It actually happened before the bus even got there. They were waiting for the bus and a truck pulled up and a man got out with a gun and grabbed the closest boy and put the gun in his face and dragged him into the truck. Too scary!

I can tell you I will definatly be doing something different from now on....
We have two kids and they are 9 (boy) and 12 (girl) and they walk to and
from the bus stop all the time with friends. Not anymore that I can tell you.

I just read the article. Seems he was randomly chosen and not targeted. When I heard it this morning, they said he was abducted from a bus. That's where my "something is not right" sensors went off.

If it was the bus stop, then I can see how it was a random thing.

From all accounts, the kid has some manners. When this jerk was trying to abduct him, the kid kept saying, "Sir, I don't know you."

I don't think that jerk deserves the respect of being called "Sir".

I'm happy he is safe. It is so scary that this kind of thing happens. And with kids using the internet and advanced technology like they do these days, I wouldn't be suprised if he had been targeted. How can we keep them safe? A friend shared this site with me - http://www.netsmartz411.org/ at least we can help keep children safer on the internet. Has anyone heard of this?
