I love this show, but I am really getting sick of listening to Sanjaya perform every week...come on he's got to go. And I really love Chris Richardson, but I fear that he is going to go if he doesn't step it up a bit...lets pray that they all sing their hearts out tonight

You know, I think Jordin is quickly becoming my favorite contestant. I know Melinda is a great singer, but so is Jordin, plus she's so much younger and just cuter--more "fresh," if that makes sense.
And Blake--he really surprised me. When he announced what he would be singing, I was like, oh GOD this will be horrible...but he really pulled it off. He's done that for me a few times now, and I think that shows that he can really handle just about any genre they throw at him.
And I agree 100% with Simon that Haley needs to stick with the tactic of wearing as little clothing as possible since that's the only thing that squeaks her by from week to week. I was watching it with Jeff, and whenever she tried to do the "salsa" dancing, he asked if she was having a seizure--all she did was shake
So last night my 2 favourites were Blake and Jordin. Jordin seems to get better every week. Sanjaya wasn't that bad he will be around another week. Not sure who will go tonight. Haley and Phil were my bottom 2.

I agree that Blake and Jordan had a couple of the strongest performances last night. And (don’t shoot me) I actually enjoyed Sanjaya’s performance. I’ve been wondering what he’s been doing still in there along with everyone else, but I actually thought he did a much better job than some other contestants last night. *cough* Haley *cough*
I’m kind of a Chris hater, he’s got some sort of nasal quality to his voice that just annoys me, and he’s just not my style. However I doubt this will be his week to go, I’m betting on Haley, I mean this can’t go on forever?
I agree that Jordin was fantastic lastnight, she is definitly the most improved. Blake was awesome lastnight...I really enjoyed him also. I like Chris Richardson, although I know he is not going to win. YOu know, I really like Melinda and LaKisha, but, I kind of want someone to win who gets up there every week and has to try to be good. Melinda and Lakisha could easily get record deals without the show...I want Jordin or Blake to win, two people you know have to work a little bit harder every week to nail their performances. They always turn out amazing performances, but it looks like they put effort in...
I have four favorite contenders and the only one that stood out for me last night was Blake, but then again, I hate that genre of music. The fact that I have four favorites still at this stage of the game tells me that no one person is really and truly standing out this year. There are some very strong people in there, but do you know what I mean? In previous seasons, at least for me, someone always stood out in the crowd.
Haley needs to go, but I fear it will be Phil. And like Simon, I hate myself for saying this, but Sanjaya was not terrible last night. I thought it was his best performance, which isn't really saying much as all his other performances sucked big time!

I haven't seen the show yet (not til Friday night) but my sister and I have laughed about Haley and her sad attempts at dancing before now. Gawd, she's like some sort of really bad show choir performer!
Blake is still my favorite to win. He's adorable and I love the way he puts his fresh spin on the songs he chooses without totally rearranging/changing/butchering it.
