My daughter & her roomate had the same problem at the place she just moved out of. It is a University town with a lot of quaint little village shops and next to no parking. The neighbors family used to own the house thye rented and it's like they forgot they didn't own it any more. They and their company would actually park in their driveway or block it--one time when my daughter was getting ready to leave only to have one of their friends block her in she asked them to move and he said sorry and offered her drugs!! It was unbelieveable. I am so glad that she doesn't live there anymore because the landlord was just as bad.

You're not the least bit overracting. And I'm with whomever said to wake her up at 3 a.m. a few days. That was my first thought. We just purchased a home with both a driveway and a parking pad. So far we have found two people parking in our pad. One parks there to pick up her kids from the school bus. All fine...except we're finding trash on the pad. If it gets to be a problem, I'll pull out of the driveway and park on the street in front of my pad the next time she's in it, then walk back inside. That should do the trick. ;) The worst was when we were on vacation. We moved in on the 16th and left town on the 17th. Got back late night 25th/26th and found a couple in the pad making out! They hightailed it out when we showed up. Betcha they thought the house was still unoccupied. It was a foreclosure that's sat empty for a year.
