I love springing forward...I actually slept in to 5am.....that never happens!

I have snowdrops!

I eat them with my fingers - but seated, with a cloth napkin in my lap - as I read the morning hard copy newspaper.

Of course it's a hard copy! One must keep up one's standards.

But aren't you afraid that you will drip strawberry juice on the paper ?

Fresh strawberries, properly washed and dried, without added sugar, do not drip.

Just the drip eating the strawberries.

Some are obviously small enough to pop in the mouth in one gulp. Some, equally as obviously, require several bites.

The group that lies between the obvious requires judgment: one LARGE bite, or several small bites. This is a mental strain during an otherwise serene breakfast.

But I'm up to it.

Just a note California strawberries are juicy.

Wake me when we move on to a different fruit, OK?
