1967...

What a great year...

13 years old and knew everything there was to know about life.....

that is....

UNTIL...

I got my first kiss...

from a girl with the prettiest smile EV-ERRR!...

sitting on my motorcycle parked in my garage.....

up until then I thought that I was the Boss Of ME!! :D

Operator265 11-15-2010 04:34 AM

1967 was definitely a good year for twas when I came to be. :D

In 1967, I had a big house in suburbia, a yellow station wagon, a boring architect husband, a boy and a girl, a dog and a cat and a gorgeous garden and was bored out of my frassing mind!

But the music was good and I weighed 130.

In 1967...I was 7 and I wore a size 6x...a 6...and the x was a GOOD THING. Who knew?

zanheltangia 11-15-2010 10:10 AM

1967, a good year indeed.

I was negative eighteen.

WebRover 11-15-2010 08:46 PM

1967 - was the first year I lived in Florida. I think I weighed 105 -- or less. That was a size 9 then.

NOPE....just from riding my motorcycle.....to be honest I was not in trouble for smoking but for lying when I said I wasn't! Since I couldn't ride my bike I asked my dad if I could sell it....he said sure...so I did!

EZMONEY 11-16-2010 08:03 AM

What's on the menu today?

cathydoe 11-16-2010 09:31 AM

Okay...time to get official. This thread is boring and needs to be shut down. TODAY!

I am glad to hear that I look so much better as a Ninja A patch over my eye and a peg leg is just not flattering.

zanheltangia 11-16-2010 10:50 AM

No poofy pirate dress with gaping neckline?

zanheltangia 11-16-2010 10:53 AM

I admit, EZ might look a bit funny in it without a big pirate hat and I am sure Bill can pull it off, but it's still better than being dipped in black with nothing but a little eye slot going on, right?

EZMONEY 11-16-2010 11:14 AM

Be nice or my crew will make you walk the plank!

zanheltangia 11-16-2010 12:48 PM

Awesome. The pups look like good lookouts, do they bark from the crows' nest?

Hey, one word:

Stardust.

zanheltangia 11-16-2010 12:50 PM

:D

LOL! My dogs will bark at just about anything BUT birds! When we go to duck pond park they just walk right by them...birds are always dive bombing into my yard, from my neighbor's trees, and my mutts just watch them...some retriever's they are!

Ruthxxx 11-17-2010 07:41 AM

My dogs bark at cats outside but, when a wee kitten started to walk in my side door, they both ran into the other room. Disney was leading the retreat but, as a Hurricane Katrina rescue, she may have had some bad experiences with cats when she was on the lam. I hope some day she writes her memoirs.

zanheltangia 11-17-2010 07:43 AM

Makes a girl miss her departed pup. :(
:)

My Lindy-girl wasn't much of a barker, more of a love-me type than a defender/fighter.

EZMONEY 11-17-2010 07:50 AM

I have my dogs trained very well on barking...

If I am on the phone they bark and bark at me then run to the cookie jar...they get one

or

bark and bark through the screen door at people walking their dogs who, in their opinion, have no business in our neighborhood, until I walk upstairs from the family room waving my finger and using my mean voice.....at which time they run to the cookie jar....

they get one....

so well trained they are.

BillBlueEyes 11-17-2010 09:20 AM

What kind of cookies? Are they on plan? I am SHOCKED!!!

[Looking up phone number for the California SPCA.]

:D Actually the treats are not cookies but in fact turkey and/or duck jerky....unfortunately not fit for human consumption.....which is shocking in itself as my dogs think they are people!

bargoo 11-17-2010 09:40 AM

My dog loves duck jerky too , otherwise he hates dog food. He much prefers people food.

cathydoe 11-17-2010 09:58 AM

Oh I have a barker here...a miniature long haired dachshund. And she has a bay window to lay in and keep an eye on the neighborhood. The mail WOMAN and paper GIRL are her favorite to bark at...

mrsaugie 11-17-2010 11:58 AM
