And ready you were indeed by winnig both games over the Rays today. It feels good to now have a 4 game lead over the Texas Rangers in the Wild Card race.

Ugh we lost both games of a double header to the Phillies today, officially being eliminated from playoff contention. And the last game, 1-0 Phillies win was pitched by none other than Pedro Martinez. Nothing like rubbing salt in the wound.

Well, won only 1 of 3 with the Padres. Maybe the Giants will be a better series for us.

Cards win the first of 3 against the Marlins.

Todd Wellemeyer got the start and he did everything he could to lose it. Thank goodness he was pulled. Good job by the bullpen.

Sheesh. Lost 3 in a row. I really hope we bounce out of this slump! I like the winning streaks so much better. That darn Linsecum certainly has the Rockies number.....

We are just coasting along... I'm a little nervous tonight, We are playing the Angels. We need our own angels we have Dice-K pitching first game in 3 months, Youkilis down with back spasms, Martinez had to go home for personal time... but 4.5 games up in the wild card race is good with me.

Pats game last night helped {grin}... that was awesome...

I see the Dodgers will be playing the Red Sox in interleague play.

Well, we're slumping big time right now. Another loss... really bad playing last night. Now we have to concentrate on holding on to the wild card instead of trying to steal the division lead. Grumble.
