Cheese!

Okay so I LOVE CHEESE! Like...really..I could eat chesse ALL THE TIME! So the saddest part of dieting for me is that I can't really have that much regular cheese...yes I know that I can have the fat free kind...but it's icky! Soooo I discovered this AWESOME cheese spread and I thought that I'd share! It's the Laughing Cow Light stuff...but it's garlic and herb flavored. And it's SOOOOOOOO GOOD! I love putting it on reduced fat wheat thins! And they come in 8 little individual 35 calorie triangles! So yea...that's my rant about this awesome cheese :) The only thing....at my cheapest grocery it was $2.6 for 8 triangles!! But worth it to me! Okay! So if you guys like cheese...try it! :)

Well I'm not on the cheese bandwagon, like you are, but that does sound good...I will have to try it!

I like cheese too. I'm not a fan of fat free cheese, so I kinda stick to the 2%, at least it has some taste to it. I'll have to try the laughing cow kind. I'm up to new stuff that tastes good and helps in my plan. Thanks

Laughing Cow cheese is so good! This may sound strange, but you can add Splenda and vanilla to make a sweet cheesecake-flavored spread. I like to smear it on whole-wheat carrot raisin pancakes, but the possibilities are endless - yum!

I don't know how they make such great cheese spread for so little calories, but I suspect that magic is involved. I really do.

I love cheese too, but I have really given it up lately. I eat it maybe 2 maybe 3 times a week now. I used to eat it 2x a day! But the first two weeks of cutting down on it I dropped 10 pounds so that tells me that even eating the 75 percent fat free was really not that good for me.

I am really trying to go vegan so hopefully one day I will be able to give it up all together.

The laughing cow cheese is good though, I like it on whole wheat crackers from the health food store. Kavli crackers have 20 calories for a large slice and a serving size is 3. I get them at the health food store, and I think they are pretty good.

I loove Laughing Cow light. I spread it in wraps. Because it's creamy and cheesy, it replaces both the mayo and the cheese I'm used to. I also like to spread it on Ryvita Sesame Rye crisps or eat it between turkey pepperoni. Yum!

if you have a trader joe's near you it's a bit cheaper than when it's on sale at the grocery store (i'm thinking it's about $2.50 always).

my two favorite laughing cow recipes:

ww english muffin
laughing cow (1 wedge split between the muffin)
honey.

you spread the laughing cow cheese on the muffin, put honey on it, and broil it in the oven for about two minutes. it's soo sweet and delicious.

ham

you spread the laughing cow cheese on the muffin, put a piece of ham on it, and broil it for about two minutes. it's like a hot ham and cheese.

I actually cheat and use Aunt Jemima's whole wheat pancake mix! I just convert the recipe for 1 serving and make it with skim milk, lite margarine and substitute Egg Beaters for the eggs. At the end I stir in grated carrot & raisins (sometimes walnuts, too) then cook in a skillet. Topped with Laughing Cow cheesecake-flavored spread and sugar-free maple syrup, of course!

It's like dessert for breakfast (carrot cake - yum!) :D
