My fave smoothie recipe at the moment:

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (I use the light n fit vanilla kind)
1/2 cup soy or low fat milk
1/4 to 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries

It takes 20 seconds to make and it's seriously good and good for you ~ hope you found some recipes you like!

That one sounds good DaisyJ. I think I would leave out the blueberries and substitute strawberries instead. I am not a big blueberry fan. I can't even eat blueberry yogurt. I have to choke it down.

I haven't tried soy milk before. I have been tempted too, but hate to buy it only to find out that I don't like it. It's not very cheap. I'll have to look for it when it's on sale. Anyone recommend a good kind to try?

I am more of a strawberry or raspberry fan too!

And I never bought blueberry yogurt until recently when I found some blueberry/flax granola that I can buy little bits of in the bulk bins. I bought some blueberry yogurt to mix in it, along with a banana, and it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! Great breakfast!! Yum.

I love blueberry. Blueberry anything. Blueberry pancakes, blueberry desserts, blueberry ice cream, blueberry syrup, blueberry blueberry blueberry! So I'll definitely be trying that one.

Thanks, Daisy

Oh, and Misti, haven't done the frozen fruit thing yet. This morning I'm having grits and egg whites, lol.

I'm funny that way. I like blueberry muffins and pancakes, but just about anything else that is blueberry I don't care for. Go figure.

I'm that way with lemon.

I hate lemons and in restaurants always order my water without lemon (or if I forget I carefully pick the lemon out with a big snarl on my face) but I love lemon-flavored foods. Lemon chicken, lemon cake, lemon pie, lemon muffins, etc. And lemonade!
