ANd if you get them in the bulk department at a health food store, they are pretty cheap too. I use them in baking all the time- they're also know as Irish Oats. I have a great low fat Irish Brown Soda Bread recipe I should post that I use them in- the only fat in the recipe is from the whole wheat and oats...and of course if you put butter on a slice of it when you eat it
And its a real Irish soda bread recipe- not an Americanized version with raisins, eggs, yeast, etc.
