I moved this to the food forum, where it might get an answer. Hopefully someone will know.

If not, this might help with a rough estimate: I read that 1 pound of lean ground beef will equal 2 1/2 cup when cooked. Let's guess that 4 oz of uncooked will equal 3 ounces cooked, so you'll get 4 servings from your pound of meat. So 2 1/2 cups (if that is true) divided by 4 = 0.625 or roughly 2/3 cup.

Maybe that will help in a pinch
