Default WW or low calorie dessert ideas-Last night I made a doozy!

Hi all,

I am new and I am doing WW. My vice is dessert so I am always looking for creative low point ideas. I usually like to keep them at 2 or 3 points and last night I had a breakthrough....It's 3 points and SOOOO good. The recipe is as follows:

1 TBSP semi-sweet chocolate chips-(2 points)
5-7 marachino cherries (1 point)

Melt chocolate in microwave for about 45 seconds, and stir till smooth. Take 1 cherry at a time, dry off the juice and coat in the chocolate (use a tooth pick) and lay on wax paper. Chill in fridge for about 30 minutes or less depending on how hungry you are. They are SO good and taste like candy...and the best part? There is ALWAYS chocolate left over and your finger is 0 points. Love to hear some other ideas!

I have a great dessert that I got off of http://www.kraftfoods.com/jello/main...m=content_main they have many recipes that are low cal and they are really good. I am trying one right now and it is:

2/3 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin, any flavor
Ice cubes
1/2 cup cold water
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
1 ready-to-use reduced fat graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz. or 9 inch)

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice.
ADD 2 cups of the whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture is very thick and will mound. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
TOP with remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

And it only has 150 cals per serving. There are a lot of other great ideas on that web site, and they aren't just dessert!!

Wow! There are LOTs of great recipes! I am so looking forward to trying them. The only problem for me is, there is just me and my man. So I will have to bring the rest to work....I am sure no one will have a problem with it.
