Exclamation Splenda/Ace K breath?

I woke up this morning with a really foulnasty sweet medicinal taste in my mouth, like I'd chugged vanilla extract or cough medicine. Even after I brushed my teeth it stayed! I've been popping Altoids because I imagine my breath could stop a clock, if it smells anywhere near as bad as my mouth and throat taste. Guess it's the Splenda/Ace-K pairing that's done it. Odd... I didn't feel like that until now. Guess it takes some time to build. Wonder what would kill that taste? Activated charcoal? Baking soda? Nature's Remedy? Three cloves of garlic?

Anyone else have this weird problem?

...I just used Splenda and I cant even stand it because I ate some of it I had the same thing. Splenda in my opinion is NASTY... Yuck.

Its lasted about a day, day in a half and went away. I couldnt find anything to rid myself of it however, sorry.

It took me three days to get rid of the nasty taste. Drinking a little (a teaspoon) of baking soda in water before I went to bed helped. Oh man, it was foul. I poured out all the rest of my Pepsi One (dang do I feel wasteful but I didn't know of anybody else who'd drink it).

Some people can taste the "chemical", some can't. To me, it just tastes sweet with no aftertaste, but my son and husband say it tastes like chewing aluminum foil
