Lightbulb Storing FOOD

Storing FOOD:

I haven't had Saran Wrap in my house for a long time. I had remembered all the times I struggled with it trying to get it just so around a bowl etc so it would stick properly.

But just recently after seeing the commercials I tried Glad Press'n Seal.
I was very pleasantly surprised. I no longer have to struggle to get it just right so that it will stick to bowls etc. It sticks very well even when you take it off and put it back on again.

This Press'n Seal stuff really sticks to things It even sticks nicely to my little Dixie type of paper bowls. Lately I have all different amounts of leftovers -- sometimes it is a very small amount and I just stick it into a very small paper bowl and use the press'n seal on top and I am set. If it doesn't touch the food it can also be reused if you happen to have another bowl to wrap right away. I also use it in the microwave also over the top of bowls. It does say to leave a little vent when using it in the microwave. --Pookie

Pookie88 - I also like that you can wrap half a cut apple in it and it doesn't turn brown.

Thanks for posting your exerience with this product. I've seen the ads and wondered if it worked as well as it appears to. I'm definitely going to give it a try now!

Ellen Thanks for the tip about the apple not turning brown. I did not know that!

Athena: I hope it works as well for you as it does for me! I see you are from Southern California -- I know I should be used to it by now, but I still get a kick out of being able to communicate with all these people around the country and around the world!

Thanks, Pookie

Pookie, I like the press & seal too. You know what else is great, and they are reusable if you wash them is Saran Quick Covers, they look like shower caps and they work great! I buy the medium size b/c it seems to work w/most of my bowls (except the real big ones. I really like em b/c you can wash them.
