Does anyone know where I can find out the points on Grilled Mahi mahi or what the point value is?

The WW Complete Food Companion lists mahi mahi (aka dolphin), cooked, 1 filet (6oz) as 4 points......well worth it!!

Hi. This is slightly off the topic of points, but your post leaves me to believe that mahi-mahi (which I always thought of as a fish) is actually DOLPHIN - like in Flipper? I had mahi-mahi when I was in Hawaii and did not like it at all. Maybe if it was actually Flipper, that's why!

A dolphin and Mahi Mahi are two entirely different species. Mahi Mahi is a DOLPHIN FISH (which is where the confusion came in, it is not an actual dolphin). But, too many people mistakenly thought they were really eating dolphin, so the name has been changed to Mahi Mahi. Sort of like they are changing the name of prunes to "dried plums" since prunes have a bad rap!! I love Mahi Mahi!!

Thanks so much for the info! I was told it was dolphin also, which i wasn't crazy about but i did some research and it is indeed a fish, not a porpoise! All I know is that it was REALLY good!
