When I just want something tasty the snack packs of Korean roasted seaweed are lovely (25 calories). I keep well roasted almonds in a jar and pair them with a handful of grape tomatoes plus a smidge of cheese if really hungry. I also tend to keep some sort of vegetable salad in the fridge (like kale or broccoli) as well as protein like boiled egg, canned fish, cooked shrimp - an instant mini meal filling salad. I guess you can see that if really hungry I find protein to be an essential element

I love making snacks at home like chickpea chocolate chips and mini chicken burger. My kids love to eat burgers during snack so I'm trying different recipe and style. I used pre-cooked chicken balls in making some chicken burgers. The ingredients are very simple; you will also need some lettuce, mayonnaise, tomatoes, cheese and mini buns.

Do you mind sharing your chickpea chocolate chip recipe ? Sound interesting I love chickpeas and have tried using chickpea flour without much success.
Another question do you grind up the chicken balls up? Thanks

A local supermarket carries frozen edamame with sea salt in single-serving microwaveable boxes, and it's the perfect snack. Because you have to shell each pod to get the soybeans inside, eating it is a slow, healthy treasure hunt.
