What do you think of it as opposed to store bought?do you think that makes it healthier?

Maybe, but probably not, unless you have your own grass-fed cow(s), or are buying fresh cream from grass-fed cattle straight from the farm.

I do make my own yogurt. It probably is not healthier than store bought plain yogurt, because I make it from store-bought milk, but it is definitely cheaper and it tastes better, because I can control the tartness to my exact preference.

I don't think even the freshest grass-fed butter is a "healthy food" in large quantities, so I think a better strategy is to buy a good quality butter and enjoy it in small quantities.
