Default Laughing Cow Cheese - Again and again...

I went to Wal-Mart today and they had Lite Laughing Cow in blue cheese and chipotle flavors! I have tried the blue cheese and it is yummy. Still 35 cal per wedge.

I love the stuff. I'm even willing to go "all out" for the strawberry flavor when I want an occasional sweetness- 45 cals (and usually by the cream cheese, not with the other laughing cow weirdly).

Well, for goodness sakes, I have never seen anything but the regular flavor. I must shop at places that are behind the times. Mollewog, I had the same idea about using it as a salad dressing. I'll try it. We do have Greek yogurt.

I really want to find the cinnamon flavor and try it with sweet potato, butternut squash, and apples (not at once, haha).

I've been spreading one wedge on 2 Wasa light rye crackers (they are large crackers, about 6" x 3") -- the entire snack is 95 calories (30 + 30 + 35). If I add some vegetables or fruit, I have lunch!

I like the Laughing Cow plain cream cheese wedges on mini-bagels. Real mini-bagels I picked up at a bagel place in Cincinnati, Ohio, not the Lender's sort. Am almost out (of the mini-bagels) and it makes me sad. Maybe a trip to Cincinnati is due soon.

Also: I found some Sonoma Jack lite cheese wedges at World Market. I picked up Parmesan Peppercorn and Garlic Herb. These have 25 calories a wedge. Have not tried them yet, just read some reviews that were a bit negative, but the reviewers were comparing them to REAL cheese, to which none of these things really favorably compare.

The Garlic Herb is good. I like it on a wrap or on a sandwich, with homemade WW bread, in exchange for mayo/cheese.
