Default I can't remember the recipe! Help!

A long time ago, about 10 years ago, I used to make some kind of lemon chill and I can't for the life of me think of what its called and everything that went into it. I know of course lemon and I think sugar. I might have boiled the water and made a sugar syrup and added the lemon. Then put it on a baking sheet that has a lip on it so it didn't run off and place it in a freezer. Every 30 mins (? again not sure, just guessing) you would take a fork and rake it until it was completely frozen. I really want to make this again, mainly for my daughter, so if anyone knows what this is called or knows the recipe that would be great!

It doesn't have a texture like a sorbet. It's kinda icy. I thought of that too but when I looked on how to make it, it didn't sound familiar.

Try googling lemon granita. Lots of recipes pop up. This one sounds like what you describe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/w...ipe/index.html

That's it!!! I just don't use the thyme and limoncello, but I googled it and found the one that uses just the water, lemon and sugar. Thank you! That was driving me nuts!
