Peanut butter is a huge weakness for me. I've never heard of pb2. Is that something that you can find in your friendly neighborhood grocery store, or would I have to go somewhere special for that?

It's in the organic section of my Fred Meyer (Kroger), I believe it is widely available now.

I usually have figs for a snack. They are high fiber and very sweet. If I want protein, I have cottage cheese.

I buy the smaller sized sweet potatoes, scrub well (don't peel), and microwave - perfect for "grab and go" (I eat skin and all) Filling, delish, healthy!

I feel best and lose weight best by eating three meals a day and snacks. I agree that having protein helps to feel sated. I may have an apple with raw almonds, fruit and greek yogurt, baby bel lights and a apple, a green salad with sunflower seeds or sardines. I also allow for a junky snack if I really want it. Or not so junky. :) So dark chocolate with peppermint tea for a sweet or pop chips dipped in greek yogurt for salty. I also keep spicy dill pickles and olives around. Oh and saurkraut.

Thanks for the heads-up! :)

I like those individual hummus cups from Costco with veggies -- takes a while to eat. I also recently made a "trail mix" with All Bran cereal (which I don't like as cereal AT ALL), dried cherries and almonds. It was a delicious combo of sweet and salty. Good fiber and some protein from the nuts.

I also love those small, sweet peppers. I take 6 of them and stuff them with one wedge of laughing cow cheese. Yummy. Even better grilled for a few seconds in a pan or microwaved for 15-20 seconds.

I usually have fruit and maybe a cup of juice.

I eat lots of snacks. Different things different days, but I usually choose a protein or fiber snack to help keep me full. Common snacks are berries (I like raspberries and blackberries best, sometimes with a little bit of raw sugar), greek yogurt, turkey or buffalo jerky, popcorn (I like the Trader Joe's mini bags best), trail mix, a low-fat cheese stick, a 90-cal fiber one bar, a hard-boiled egg, a skim latte, etc. I wish I liked raw veggies as snacks, but I don't (I prefer most veggies cooked, which doesn't usually work well for snacks).

Oh gosh, that sounds really good. I never thought of doing that, but I LOVE bell peppers lately. I'm definitely going to try that.

And I'm going to try to coffee/protein shake made with chocolate protein powder. Right now. Edit: Made it with decaf instant coffee, skim milk, chocolate protein powder, ice and splenda. Yummy!
