trying to avoid the holiday binge eating
hi all -
with easter just around the corner, I'm nervous about cheating that day. does anyone have any healthy recipes for the holiday? hope you're all having a wonderful day!! :) |
I know what you mean! My family goes to an Easter brunch buffet every year, so that won't be easy. I just plan on keeping it to one plate and lots of veggies if I can help it. Going to do my best to stay away from all of the wonderful candy!!
Good luck! |
Just about every dish can be tweaked to be healthier and delicious!
Check out these websites and search for what you'd normally make: www.skinnytaste.com http://www.cookinglight.com www.eatingwell.com http://www.eatbetteramerica.com |

HEART ASPARAGUS! ;) And I'm also making a strawberry cake thats shaped like an egg, lol... Although that will be my strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream recipe from my cupcake business... :D GL! |
An easy thing to do is to bring a large veggie plate, full of your favourite raw veggies. Then you can snack as much as you want guilt free.
|
I'll just cheat but I'll keep the portions as small as I can and have lots of vegetables and salad. I'll also have some dessert as I do once a week. I keep any favourite foods on my plate and eat them last. We don't have small kids around so I didn't buy any chocolate for us.
