Shakeology... Cheaper alternatives?
 

My sister gave me her **********; she didn't like it.
I love it, but I can't afford to keep buying it. Are there any cheaper alternatives?

********** has both your fruit & veg in it, right? I am on a quest to find a good meal replacement. I was on I s a g e n i x for several months but I can't stomach the shakes anymore. Just opening the canister and smelling it turns my stomach. But while I was on it, I thought it tasted amazing.
So I am starting to wonder if you drink something multiple times a day, everyday, if you are just bound to get sick of it one day?

At any rate, I just ordered the Spiru-tein 7 sampler pack (comes with a shaker bottle) from amazon.com. I have never tried Spiru-tein before, it's a protein shake with a 100 cal per scoop and the nutritional info looks pretty good.

But, I am also looking for the perfect meal replacement that has all the good stuff in it-- that's on the cheaper side. I am a big fan of replacing 2 meals a day with "shakes" and having 1 dinner or lunch. That works really well for me.

I LOVE Spiru-tein! I think the vanilla tastes like cake batter. (Beware, the vanilla has a slight green tinge to it, but instant coffee will hide that.) :p I drank it almost every day since 1997 and never got tired of it. A couple years ago I switched to Energy by the same company - no sugar in that one. The only reason I stopped is that I'm doing Medifast right now and I want to do it 100%.

Wow, that Spiru-tein sounds really good! Does it have fruits and veggies in it like ********** does? Or just vitamins?

Energy has more whole foods in it - http://www.naturesplus.com/products/...01&category=24 - and if you have a powerful blender like a Vitamix, you can make a shake with spinach and berries added.
