Funny because that's one of the main reasons why I don't like her cookbooks. It is too much cooking for one. She does have great ideas though. I used to make a lot of her recipes but gave up, too many things she uses are expensive, over processed and hard to find in Canada. I notice her recipes have been getting better though - including more fresh ingredients and little more dinner for two or family friendly.

The onion rings weren't bad though! I use my little mini food processor to grind up stuff like that - it's awesome!
