soy milkshake!(better than it sounds)

  • Ok so I am lactose intolerant, which has its downsides, but the upside is many soy products contain less calories and fat than milk, plus soy protein!

    1/4 cup any soy ice cream(I recommend the brand Soy Decadent, the Cookie Dough one)

    1/4 cup light vanilla soy milk

    1 tbsp peanut butter(especially good if you dislike soy milk because it covers up the taste of the soy)

    Total cals: 100(for ice cream), 20(soy milk), 120(peanut butter)= 240 cals!!!

  • A shake I make using soymilk, from one of the Bob Greene books, has 2cups lite chocolate soymilk, 2 cups frozen strawberries, and 1 banana.... blend well.... delicous!!
  • Mm... that sounds SO good... I'm lactose-intolerant too so I will have to try this!
