Eating Rose Petals
 

I was reading a "vegan" message board and they were discussing how they eat (red and yellow) rose petals. How do they do that? Does anyone know anything about this?
It sounds weird to me, but I'd try them if I knew they weren't poison. :lol: Mom always thought they were.. or did she?

I have eaten Nasturium and Pansy flowers in salads before and found them to be quite tasty.

Edible flowers are becoming more and more popular. I've not tried any, but I've heard that many add a peppery flavor to salads.

I don't think I would enjoy rose petals. I once tried a piece of Turkish Delight candy, and hated it! However, a lot of people love the rose flavor.
