Ballpark Turkey Franks?? Wth??
Okay, so they are one of my occasional crutches on my mostly whole foods diet..
I have bought these for years--45 calories and 0 Fat....bought them this week and late last night I went to grab one and noticed first, they are short and fat--not long and thinner anymore--AND they are 110 calories with 7 grams of fat! The labeling looks the same. WTH? |
They have two different turkey franks now - one is white and dark meat, 110 cals, 7 grams of fat. The other is labeled as 'white turkey franks' - they are the 45 cals/0 fat, long and thin ones that you are looking for. Both have a green label strip. I get the white turkey franks all the time, have a hard time finding them anywhere but Publix lately.

Ohh..thanks so much for the tip--had NO idea..I usually get mine at SuperTarget but this week I stopped by Walmart for frozen blueberries and popped them into the basket while I was there. I hate Walmart--this is one more reason why!
