I really like HG as well. I love any of the recipes that use Fiber One.

I, for one, love the Fiber One onion rings and the pumpkin pie.

I love most everything Fiber One, my favorite find is the Jalapeno Swappers. They're so flavorful and guilt free!

I like the site, but some of the recipes make me cringe. Cheesecake made with all fat-free cream cheese? *shudder*

heehee funny you should mention that! i made the individual strawberry cheesecakes- the ones with coffe creamer and splenda and water and all that. they were HORRIBLE! hahaha i like a LOT of her stuff but this one was a big flop.hey, they can't all be winners, right?

Yes, you can't win 'em all and my boyfriend is the biggest critic of anything he even thinks might be healthy! Even myself I can't bring myself to eat fat free cream cheese, it's just gross. I will mix it with reduced fat though for recipes but can't eat it by itself!.

I had a fantastic win last night thanks to Hungry Girl though! I made a pizza inspired from ingredients on their grocery list (mainly turkey bacon, turkey pepperoni, and reduced fat mozzarella cheese) and it was a huge hit with both my boyfriend and some dinner guests. It's not an every day diet food for me and I only had once slice but it was great to be able to cut some fat (especially the saturated variety) and calories from a dish and have everyone enjoy it so much!

Her last book was sold at my big chain grocery store. Maybe thumb through it first. Her website hungrygirl.com allows you to access alot of recipes, you just have to click around. Although she says she prefers and eats whole foods, many/most of the recipes are using products. The ideas for lower calorie version of favorites are usually very good, and can be a starting point to re-think how you approach your cooking.

Smile Hungry Girl-my new best friend!

If you haven't heard of Hungry Girl before then you must check out the website and sign up for the email updates of recipes and tips on healthy eating. I bought Hungry Girl's cook book called "200 Recipes under 200 Calories" and i am obsessed with it. Use a lot of fiber and different substitutions for things, awesome grocery finds, very creative. The cool thing is, for those of you following WW like me, everything is broken down with nutrition information, with point values and every recipe has the nutritional information along with point values.

hungrygirldotcom

everyone must check it out....it is so helpful and fun! She keeps things fresh and creative, stuff for every occasion you can possibly think of. I was so lucky to have found it advertised on the yogurt i eat..Fiber One yogurt-delicious!!! and is ZERO points..yes, i repeat ZERO. check it out.

I merged your thread with a couple other previous hungry girl threads. There has been a lot of discussion throughout the years about hungry girl. For me, she offers limited usefulness but I know a lot of people are devoted followers
