Need more Protien..shakes, bars....?

Hiya all:)

I'm looking for some good sources of protien from suppliments... bars drinks and such. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For drinks, wheter powder or liqud, anyone know any that actually taste good without the yucky after taste they all seem to have lol. Or any recipes on making protien shakes yourself that takes the protien taste away?

And about bars, any good ones that arent loaded with fat and sugar.

I really need to add a bunch of protien to my diet, but i can't possibly add anymore meat or veggies or i'll turn green! lol

TYTY :)

I don't bother with shakes or bars because they are so high in calories for the amount of protein you are getting. Here are some of my main sources of protein that don't involve meat or veggies:
  • cottage cheese (14g per serving)
  • non-fat yogurt (20g per serving)
  • oatmeal or oat bran (5g to 7g per serving)
  • hardboiled eggs (sometimes I mix the yolk with a little dijon mustard to make a quick deviled egg) (6g per egg)
  • eggwhite omelets (if you don't want veggies, make plain cheese omelets with laughing cow cheese) (Eggbeaters has 6g protein per 1/4 cup serving)
  • tofu (technically a veggie, but at least it's not green) (Trader Joe's sells baked tofu that is awesome and has 16g of protein per serving)
  • 50-calorie La Tortilla Factory wrap with laughing cow cheese (7.5g protein)
