You all are making me hungry. I like the MSF Black Bean burgers, the Tomato & Basil Pizza burger and both kinds of Chik patties.
I just had a Chik patty today on a ww reduced calorie bun with tomato and lettuce, it really hit the spot. I had a Tomato/Basil burger for breakfast on a ww reduced calorie tortilla. They are just tasty, easy and convenient.
Jennifer, I tried both last week. I actually like the Ginger Teriyaki even better than the Southwest. They are great. They remind me of the rice/soybean patties that I used to make from scratch. The same texture. Hmmm, I might have to hunt for that recipe.
Morningstar has something new - Veggie Cakes. I bought Southwestern Style and Ginger Teriyaki.
I love the Southwest! I haven't tried the Ginger Teriyaki yet, but I'll probably have them tomorrow with some stir fry on the side.
I saw these this week, but they are made with rice, so they're no good for me on South Beach, but while I was looking, I also saw that MorningStar Farms now makes an Asian Veggie Patty (burger patty), which has very little sugar, so I got those. They were on sale for a GREAT price (2/$3, I believe, so only $1.50 for 4 "burger" patties). I'm VERY excited to try them, as I LOVE Asian ginger/sesame/teriyaki type flavors.
You're all gonna think I'm a big dork, but my childish mentality (and taste buds!) LOVES the little mini corn dogs! I think they are by MorningStar, not Boca.
I was looking at those in the store yesterday but put them back as I was afraid they would tastes like those fake hot dogs. Can't remember what they were or who made them but boy were they nasty. I'm going to give these a try next time though! And I think I might try one of the MS Chikn products as I'm afraid of those quorn things.
OK, I LOVE the MS sausage patties. I usually have Gardenburger or Dr. Praeger's for veggie burgers rather than the soy ones.
I want to try their new veggie bites. They come in lots of different flavors & looked great for a light meal w/some veggies or fruit.
Well, wouldn't you know it. I gave Boca original another try and now I like them...lol.
I bought a big box at BJ's club. I believe they're bigger than the ones at the supermarket, each burger is 100 cal. I use a ligh whole wheat bun and top it with all kinds of veggies. It's so good!

I tried the original boca burgers again recently (vegan ones) after trying them years ago and thinking they were disgusting. I like them but only if they are cooked until almost crispy.
The smell is something that is taking me a bit to get over. They remind me of those disgusting hamburgers that we used to have in elementary school that were completely encased in a bun. Now I'm starting to wonder if school hamburgers were part soy? Could be.
