Question Extracts: PB, Choc, Caramel???

Has anyone ever used peanut butter extract?? Or chocolate extract? Or caramel extract? Do you know of any recipies which would call for these (maybe instead of the calorific real thing?)? Thanks.

I remember sometime as a kid my dad would put a few drops of extract into pancake batter to flavor them.

My guess is you mostly use them in baking (breads or sweets) or in candy, but I am not sure there aren't other uses. I have a food encyclopedia at home, and if I remember, I'll check it tonight and see if they mention these "other" flavored extracts.
