You can cook fish in them, or veggies, or potatoes. You put your veggies in the bag, add no water, microwave and eat. I filled a bag with mixed veggies this morning, microwaved them at lunch at the office today....a plate full of steamed veggies!!!!

In my house, we use them literally for almost every meal. Potatoes, fresh veggies, frozen veggies, fish, we even did thawed boneless skinless chicken breast tenders in these bags once!
They work well for me to take to work too, because there's no water or oil in the bags and I can just throw them in my bag and run out the door and not have to worry about a healthy meal while I'm away from home!
I'm a lazy steamer. I get frozen veggies, throw a wet paper towel on top of them and then throw them in the microwave. Maybe I'll look these up though.
