Default Rival Crock-pot Cooks Hot

I don't know where I should post this. I have been wanting to ask this for awhile now but I keep forgetting. I have two new Rival crock-pots, a big and a small one, not the tiny one, both are family size. Anyway, they are both the SMART POTS...I have a real problem with them cooking way too fast! I had flank steak in one the other day for fajitas, was supposed to cook on low for 8-10 hours, that is how long it used to take in my other crock-pot, a Rival also, but not the Smart Pot. Well, AGAIN, it cooked way too fast, on low it was done in 3 1/2 hours. Good thing I was home to watch it. It has a warm cycle (the smart part?) that it goes to, but I swear I could cook an entire pig in it in half a day if I could fit it in the pot!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
