I can blame a lot on my mother, but not a childhood of junk food. It was FORBIDDEN when I was a kid.

dont you think the forbidden is part of what made it so tempting?
grocery bakery cakes are not much better ...dh had taken a piece from a work party back to his desk intending to eat it later and never did. It sat on his desk for 2 years and all it did was shrink slightly...it looked like a plaster art project of a cake.
I saw those this past summer at Dollywood. They also had deep fried Snickers bars. I didnt try them. I dont know if I could stomach it.
I had a group of guy friends in college who specialized in deep fried snickers. Yes they are good, but I never ate one outright, they were always the chaser for several crappy beers! They're coated in pancake batter, so they really do melt in your mouth.
Hailing from Australia, I have absolutly *no idea* what Twinkies are! I have heard of them...but what are they?
We have Krispy Kreme here in Australia - at the International Terminal of the Sydney Airport!!! And nowwhere else, as far as I know. That said, I haven't tried them either, although friends say they are awesome...
After reading the posts, though, I am glad we don't have them here!
