Question Videos that use resistance bands

Hi,

I purchased a diet plan a few weeks ago that came with the resistance bands but I no longer follow that plan. I plan on searching for some videos myself but I was wondering if anyone had any vid/dvds to recommend that involved resistance bands.

Thanks

When I bought my resistance bands they came with a DVD called "Spri Pumping Rubber With The Xertube". It's the only video for resistance band that I have tried, but I like it. It takes you through a pretty fast workout, so it feels like a cardio workout as well.

Good luck!

The only one that I have done was Billy Blanks Fat Blasting Cardio. With the rubber bands, it's definetaly (sp?) an advanced workout!!!

Hmmm... Can I link to Amazon here? You find the video I suggested there if you do a search for Spri pumping rubber. If the link works, you can find the video I used here and the kit I used here. That video is the only one I know that uses bands for weight training. If you want to use the bands for cardio training, the Billy Blanks Bootcamp tapes are great, but you might find it hard to use normal bands with them. I would suggest that you buy the Billy Bands that he uses. I tried to use normal bands, and it just didn't work :-(. Good luck, no matter what you choose!

Richard Simmons has a resistance band workout out there.

Also, a workout that changed my life was Power 90--a workout put out by Beachbody.com. Power 90 has both a cardio and strength training workouts. During the strength training workouts, one person is using dumbbells while another uses a resistance band.

Denise Austin also has a resistant band workout called "Power Zone" (as a rule though, I avoid all resistant band related exercises---previous experiences showed that they're only effective in flogging oneself - owie)

There are different kinds of resistance bands! There is the X-tube, there are bands, there are circular and figure-8 configuations, and then they come in different sizes with differing degrees of resistance. Soooooo, you have to look for workouts the match the kind of band you have. Try Collage Videos; the descriptions they provide of each video can be helpful.

I am still waiting for my order for Bootcamp Elite but I can tell you that the new Bootcamp series has new bands that have 1lbs removal weights. I ordered it mainly for that but also I love the Taebo workouts

Some of Leslie Sansones "Walk Away The Pounds" (I have the 3 mile advanced walk and it does) use a little of the stretchy bands. Not lots of moves - just during 1 mile of the walk.
