Hi Everyone!

My friend and I were suppose to go to the pool today. She hee hawd around about going swimming. Swimming is a bit more work so I wasn't motivated to push her to go. When she had PT before, they put her on the bike. We paid $10 for one month at the local Senior Center. She's not happy about it being a Senior Center, LOL. We went today and she did the bike. I did the bike with her for a while and then went to use the weight machines. I am hoping that this will help me with being consistent with weights. The center is nice and clean. They also have a fitness pool, it's not like a lap or swim pool. You can turn the jets on to walk against the resistance. They have steps that you can put in the pool to step up on for exercise, etc. I need to learn how to use the machines again. I can't believe I can't remember how to adjust the machines. There are instructions but I didn't understand them, LOL. Anyways, I would love to go there twice a week. We'll see what happens.

Default Just walking for now



Since I've just come back (again) and I'm super out-of-shape, I'm going to stick to walking every night for now.

I do a few squats and modified push-ups, stretches, etc., during the day. But I find myself utterly unmotivated to exercise because DH is home all day now that he's retired, and I HATE exercising with an audience. Especially with DH as an audience.

When I get a little more fit, I will start going back to the gym. I'd rather work out anonymously among disinterested strangers, than in my own home with a hypercritical observer.

So, walking it is. I'm up to four walks in a row.
