I got really ill last night after we got home from the doctors office. I don't know if it was car sickness or the 3 cashews I ate, I have a sensitivity to nuts but I thought I would be safe with 3 piddly little cashews. Anyway, I just feel frail this morning, tired and worn out and I just don't know how much of a walk I will take today. I want to try to do something but I kind of just want to go to bed and sleep.
Trip to the doctor went well, I got released, no more follow ups unless something happens and I need to see him. No more 6 hour trips, yay! I asked about the procedure for the heel spurs I have. He looked at the xray and was like “that’s a big spur” Of course it is a big spur, why would I have a small one, sigh. The bottom line is the recovery is 6 weeks no weight bearing, and then 4 weeks of minimal weight bearing and then however long it takes to recover the rest of the way I guess. So bottom line is stretches, stretches and more stretches to try to avoid surgery for heel spurs.

tubolard, so sorry you got sick after just getting home from the doctor's office. hope you are much better this morning. it most likely was the nuts. just had breakfast a few minutes ago. have a load of wash in the machine now. will go for a power walk in a few minutes.

tubolard, sounds you are much better! glad to hear that! just got back from power walking and running errands. will get ready to take the bus to a neighboring community to power walk and run errands there.
