good evening! sister and I spent the day at the hospital with dad. he has pneumonia and is in the intensive care unit. he's stable and will recover but has to be there a few days.
haven't had any breakfast or worked out yet but have made a considerable dent in the post-company laundry. all the laundry I did yesterday has been folded and some of it has been put away. two of the four beds have clean sheets on them and have been made up fresh. have another load of laundry in the dryer and another in the washing machine. upstairs bathroom was also re-stocked with toilet paper.
thanks for the prayers Diana! my sister called the hospital to find out how he's doing. he's doing very well and has been moved to a regular room. we are anticipating that he'll be discharged either tomorrow or Monday. somebody from hultquist place will pick him up tomorrow or Monday. am considering going to church tonight as the weather has eased up considerably.
I agree about it being great news about dad. i'll call him tomorrow. a friend of our family is also a patient in that same unit. I saw jerry's wife and daughter getting off the elevator yesterday and waved at them. they came into the waiting room and visited for a few minutes with us and another family that sally, my sister and I were acquainted with. last night, my sister and I saw sally and Kristen come into the restaurant we were having dinner at. dinner was the third time that week we had run into them. after I took my shower this afternoon, I decided not to go to church tonight. will go tomorrow morning.
power walked 90% of the way to church. rode with a friend and one of her sons, who belong to the same church, the rest of the way. power walked to lunch and to run some errands after church. will go for another power walk and run two more errands in a few minutes.
