Update on baby:
The liver enzyme levels are high but not super high which is a good thing. There is still a risk of fetal death if she goes to full term so they are still going to induce her at 36 weeks just so there is less of a chance of a fatal outcome. They are checking her twice a week so they can keep a good eye on her levels and make sure baby is kicking and growing as she should be. So while still terrified for my grandbaby it is slightly less terrifying knowing her levels are not as bad as they could be. The doctor said the only thing she is worried about is her lungs and how developed they are at birth, how much help she will need and if she will have to be sent to a larger hospital for more aggressive treatment. The doctor also said that there is a basically a 75% chance of this issue happening with every pregnancy K has. So she and my son have a lot to discuss about how many babies they are going to try to have. But for now I am just going to to try to relax and be glad that her enzyme levels are not as bad as they could be.
