Hi Everyone!

Check-In: I had some last minute things to do and really couldn't focus on a formal workout with the pending hurricane. Met a friend at church to do some cleaning. The ladies have decided to take on the cleaning of the church. We did the vacuuming. It was a couple hours so I guess that counts as a some extra movement.

I doubt I will be able to workout much in the next couple of days.

took advantage of the weather and walked to one of my favorite restaurants for supper. took the day from work today and am taking it off again tomorrow. got a new laundry marker tonight and wrote dad's name on his clothes. have some phone calls to make tomorrow as there are some relatives that I want to call and tell them about dad. also need to call and schedule my mammogram.

i'll be able to get it done. just did 2 miles leslie sansone. will hang up the laundry I did yesterday and go for a power walk in a few minutes.

power walked to the diner for supper tonight. also ran an errand on the way there. power walked home. my fitness goals for today have been attained. my cousin and I are going to take dad's clothes to the nursing home tomorrow. he's still at the hospital.

Hi Everyone!

The power has flickered many times but it stayed on, so far. Praise the Lord! The backside of the hurricane was worse than the start. We are still having gusts. There are huge trees down around us, but none of ours have come down, so far. The trees didn't come down until the back side of the hurricane and it was leaving.

just got back from a power walk and going out to lunch. my cousin took me to see my dad at the nursing home. I took the suitcase I had packed for him. his room in the rehab department is lovely. with the exception of a hospital bed being in there you'd swear in a really nice moderately priced motel-very attractively decorated, phone in room, and flat screen tv.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I feel truly blessed to have gotten 8 hours of sleep, was able to wake in the comfort of my own home, and have no serious damage to deal with from hurricane Matthew. We only have some limbs to pick up and need to put things back in order outside. A lot of people are waking in much different situations and my heart and prayers go out to them.

Ciecie I'm glad your Dad will be staying in such a nice place. What a blessing for him and the family.

Last night I added on: Tamilee Webb's Total Body Stretch (sitting) and Legs Up the Wall 10 minutes
