I've been trying to find the best weight combo with this workout. I don't have anything between 5's & 8's for the upper body and wearing the weighted gloves isn't always a good solution. Holding 2 weights in each hand is uncomfortable, too. I can probably move up to 10's for lower body. This workout is high rep/low weight. It has 70 push ups! How is that for high rep?
Hi Everyone! teacher Glad you got off to a good start with school. It's hard to believe fall is around the corner already!
Diana 7-0????? That is OUTSTANDING!
Deb I'll have to google Capoeira. I have learned of so many good things on 3FC! Your meditations sound lovely.
I've been having some knee issues, nothing big, but I'm laying off the stair stepper for now. I was going to start Oxycise but DVD player is not cooperating. So for now, just counting steps while working, which is averaging 4-5k/day. Vacation coming up in 9 days and that will give me a chance to get in some gym time & a lot of walking.
Mars: I tried a very beginner Capoeira introduction and found much of it too difficult. In fact there were a few moves near the end that I simply watched. It is a South American martial arts practice. I am not ready for that yet!

Mars Did I neglect to mention that most of the push ups are on my knees? DH tried telling me that they didn't count since they were on my knees and not real push ups. I told him that they do count and I count all 70. Don't mess with me.
Teacher I'm glad the first day back was a good one.
