Just wanted to say am taking a fitness break..do daily housechores, part of my caregiver duties and climbing stairs always tired me out on doing my own me time...which is getting online to rest. I cook, clean shopping and that is enough for me.

So keep up the good work everyone...Not sure when I will get my own fitness workouts..

Take Care..

I can't remember if I posted this here or not... but it was a running quote but would apply to any exercise, can't find it but it was something like this:

I get up and run in the morning because it is better than trying to explain to myself that night why I didn't run.

Ran 4.89 miles this morning. Apparently.... there is this thing that happens with runners sometimes when you are out running and you suddenly have to go to the bathroom. I was going 6 miles and ran out 3 and was headed back when it became an emergency so I had to call my husband to come get me! Ugh!
This is why Leslie is good- you are home close to the bathroom!
Well, that won't stop me tomorrow.

Oh no!!! I have heard that is so painful. Sorry. I'm amazed you have been able to do as much as you have with shingles!

I ran this morning 6.01 miles! It was really great because I was able to time it such that half way through the run the sun was coming up - beautiful.
I'm still in shock I can run this far -- all by starting with a year of Leslie 6-7 times a week and then doing the Couch 2 5K program.

Anyway, I've been at a conference Tues-Thur so didn't have to be at school my normal early hour. Tomorrow is last day off and then, back to my 4:15am runs.
Oh well, not long till summer break!
