I love Leslie but once in awhile I would like to do something quicker like when I have company. What do you think?

I think it would work if you took it much slower. Just 30 second increases maybe. I had never been on an elliptical until about a week ago. The gym where I hired the trainer for strength training has one. I mainly only lift weights there, but sometimes to warm up I get on the treadmill. Last week he had me warm up on the elliptical and I got so sore afterwards. It really bothered my thighs and knees. And that was only for three minutes. I don't know why!
With the couch 2 5k you start with only thirty seconds of running with walking inbetween. It goes up very slowly. In week four it really jumps up. I think if you do a quick 20-30 second interval and then go really slow on it, that would be good.
I dont think I have lost since I started running, maybe one pound at most. But, at the same time I started running I started biking and strength training! I am adding in a lot more calories than I used to eat when I just did Leslie.
