Hello friends! I've been so busy here lately I haven't had time to post. Sitting here watching Duck Dynasty and relaxing. I took Monday off from walkikng as I stayed up too late the night before.

Tues: 3 Mile Bootcamp w/ bands
Weds: 2 and almost 1/2 miles of the 5 mile Fat Burning

I am really struggling with my food intake lately. For so long I was able to allow in foods that were "off plan", enjoy them in small amounts and move on back to healthy eating. Not so much lately. Seems like I'm always wanting to bake goodies or grab a treat. I've slowly put on about 9 pounds in the last couple of years and can't seem to back in the swing of getting it off. I think I need to find things to keep me busy in the evenings, those have been the worst. Won't be long til I'm fretting over my flower beds, though, and that should keep me occupied! Anyway...onward!!

One of the perks of my initial weight loss was reducing my high blood pressure meds. Had hoped that if I got down to my original goal I would be able to come off completely, but I've never gotten to it. Anyway, I've been trying to take stock of all the positives I've been given by losing weight and getting in shape. Those FAR outweigh a few minutes of chewing on a fattening treat. Don't mind me, I'm just jabbering and trying to talk myself into getting back on track!

I appreciate you gals being here!

Hi Annie. The same thing happened to me but I realized I could get by with a lot less and have started losing again. I try to just eat less of everything and not think about good or bad foods.

Hi Cathy! Thanks for the support!

Did 3 miles of the Walk Slim 4 Fast Miles this morning. Then walked a mile total to pick up my mower from the shop. Already mowing time here in OK....at least if your back yard is almost totally clover and weeds.

If I don't check in this weekend, I hope you all have a blessed Easter!! ~~He is risen!~~

Carol, I agree, we probably burn more calories working out in the mornings. I think mornings are just better bec then you get it done first thing and nothing else gets in the way.

I just noticed that you were cooking for 25 last weekend... how did the Bible conference go?

It went really well. The biggest problem we have is that we never know for sure how many will come. The first year in 1996 we had 400. Now we're down to about 250. But on Sun., snow was predicted and there were less people. That means lots of leftovers. But we put them out in the dining room at the end and they all got taken.
