Hi Ladies!
I've been using a Polar Heart Monitor for the past 2 weeks during my workouts and I've noticed that I'm burning more calories now that just 2 weeks ago doing the same workouts. Any thoughts? Perhaps due to slightly more muscle tissue? I'm not complaing just wondering I also wear the weighted gloves with everything.
Workouts today were wonderful and had great energy!

more muscle tissue, plus with turbo fire you get better as you learn the choreography and can flow better each week

Thank you Kay7jay!! Good point - I'm learning the moves and able to do them better 2nd and 3rd time around!! Enjoy Insanity I've never tried it but my husband has it...looks very hard!

Hi Everyone!

I took the last couple days off for the Memorial weekend. My exercise of choice was EATING! Today, I am back to all things healthy! Eating right and exercising! I got some weight to drop.

Hello all!

Holiday weekends can be tough - I agree! Tonight I'm off to do Hiit 25 and Core 20. Honestly feeling so irritated about a work thing that I may also go for a long walk with my dogs.

Great job on Fire60, Diana! I've yet to try that one

TurboLaura Sorry about the work situation. I know a walk with the dogs will make you feel better. That's a good way to put you in a good mood and make the pooches feel better too.

Thanks for your kind words, Diana! I took my boys for a 45 minute walk and felt MUCH better! I was able to rock hiit 25 and core 20 tonight. As Chalene says, a good mood is just a workout away!

May I ask you how long it was before you stopped thinking about food when you were upset by something? I'm slightly irritated at myself for eating and extra 200 calories just because I was annoyed....BAD HABIT!

Ha Ha! I never stop thinking about food! I have had food issues all of my life. I try really hard not to eat when I am upset, etc. My biggest issue is that I can eat a lot of food. I have always been a big eater. I will have issues with what I call "the bottomless pit". If I am hormonal or having the bottomless pit issue, I will steam a package (1 pound) of frozen veggies. I will normally drink a glass of water first, eat the veggies, then follow that with another glass of water. That seems to help me without causing too much damage with the calories. I seem to be good once I get that full feeling. Everyone is different, though.

Hi Diana,

That sounds like a great suggestion, thank you. I just hate that I think of eating every time I get upset - I guess that's how I ended up so heavy! I need to replace the behavior!! I quit smoking 4 years ago and don't think about it anymore...let's hope the same happens with food but I think I've been a food addict longer! HAHA.

After work will do another long walk (weather permitting) and Fire 55EZ.
