Thanks, Annie. I am trying really hard here to establish an exercise routine. I walk after school (teacher) with my friends for a little bit over 2 miles, and then when I come home I do Jillian Michaels and Leslie's last video. I know it sounds a lot, but there's a lot to do with this body!!!!

Question: I am not sure if I have hit a plateau or not. The scale has barely moved for the last week and a half (maybe a pound) but my clothes feel looser. Has anybody experienced this? I am trying to incorporate more weight training so I wonder if it's muscle what I am getting...

Also, Annie I am game for the daily accountability. How do you want to do it?

It worked. 2 miles of the 5 really big miles using the hand weights. I'd rather use weights than do jumping jacks!!

Hello all! I did 3 miles of the Walk Off Even More Weight (weight belt) this morning. Cathy, there have been a few times that I didn't sweat during one of Les's workouts. Lately I've been sweating buckets, though!!

Umimar-I had thought about starting a thread/group over in the general Weight Loss Support area. I took part in the 40-somethings for a long time and kind of fell out of that. When I turned 50 in Feb., I checked out the 50-somthings "Golden Girls" thread. I know this sounds so shallow and superficial, but I don't feel like a "Golden Girl"!!! That makes me think of old gray haired ladies for some reason. The gals there were very nice and I prob should just take part there, but for some reason I just didn't feel like it was for me. I'd kind of like to stick with people who are doing it similarly to me, too. Calorie counting, healthy eating, exercise. I don't want to be in a thread with people trying wacky diets, etc. I don't ask for much, do I???? Not sure what I'll do. Any suggestions??

Annie - i know exactly how you feel. no golden girl here either and i'm 52 I would join in on a thread like you are talking about starting
btw, your weightloss and healthy eating really shows in your new picture!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!

I did 2 miles this morning. I used the 5 Mile Walk from 2006 and added 5 minutes of jogging at the end of the 2 miles to make sure I got in 30 minutes.

later gaters

Hey ladies! Thanks for the compliments on the pic! When/if I come up with a thread plan, I'll let you all know!

I worked my hiney off in the flower beds last night and am sore all over. REALLY tried hard to talk myself out of exercising this morning, but went ahead and did the 2 Mile Power Walk With Friends. Kept the hand weights to 1 pound as my arms/shoulders are REALLY bothering me today.

Weird readings on my scale at home the last week or so....I may need to invest in a new one. For example, I weighed fully-clothed, w/o shoes last week as I was leaving for my doc appt. When I got there, I weighed in exactly the same clothing, no shoes and weighed 5 pounds LESS than my home scale showed.

Everyone have a great weekend, I may not check in until Monday!!

Hello ladies!! Just wanted to peek in. Can you believe it is that last day of April??? 26 days until I am again a married woman!!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to sleep until after midnight last night. My own fault. So I stayed in bed instead of exercising this morning. Back at it tomorrow, though.

Have a wonderful Monday!!
