Default New to fitness dvds and need some advice.

Hey everyone! I'm new to this whole workout thing. I wouldn't say that I am really over weight, but I have a high heartbeat and I absolutely have to get down a few sizes , and get into shape within the next 2 months. I need to go down roughly 20- 30 pounds, I know that's not really that possible in 2 months, but I need to know where to start. I don't know if this matters, But I am a 22 year old female...idk.. I'm lost. LOL.
Anyway, I've been using No More Trouble Zones by Jillian Michaels for the past week and a half, and I'd like to have other options because I tend to get bored easy. I don't know where to start. I do know that I also have to diet to get lose weight and I am, but from experience, what dvds have you used with the fastest results? I also have all the time in the world to give to getting in shape since it's summer and I have 0 classes.
I can't do pushups just yet, and planks make me nauseous. (sp?).
Any advice will be appreciated!
Thank you!

So far, Jillian's 30 Day Shred is helping shed inches, if not pounds, quickly.

That's the only one I have real experience with, though. I've heard P90x is good, but tough.

Hmm i hear ya on the boredom! Do you have access to your school gym? Maybe worth popping in there 2-3 times a week for a quick full body workout, then maybe do some light interval training a couple times week. I think it is most important you just pick a few workout videos that are fun for you and can stick with it.

Don't get too caught up though on trying to pick the perfect workout, just be active and do something that you is fun for you, progress and keep things interesting. As long as you are moving and being active you'll be ok.

Your diet is going to be the biggest factor. Working out won't fix a bad diet. =/

30 day shred http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/UgpuDex8Iuo/

And of course my Zumba videos I do by myself at home!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8c2Q...268CB&index=58

Doing wonders for my stamina and I can see a difference. It's not huge but these pics were from 5/11 (in panties) 6/8 (ones in shorts) http://s1218.photobucket.com/albums/...Buttercup8587/ .My clothes are fitting better. But, I've only really lost about 16 pounds in 2 months. Even with eating out a few times, and drinking my sweet tea lol. And the very occasional snack :/ And I slacked off on zumba and 30 day shred for a good 12 days too so no tellin where I'd be now! Pick something and stick with it!

I try to do 30 day shred- bout 27 minutes whole thing including warm up and cool down and then 30 minutes of zumba. But some days I only do 10 or 15 of zumba.

Also I've only done level 1 of 30 day shred. I restrated yesterday and in 8 more days of 1 I'm going to try 2.

I always loved Tae Bo since the late 90's.

Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease is a ton of fun and works up a sweat.

I don't know if you have a Wii, but the Just Dance ones are super fun--both myself, my guy (though he would NEVER admit it) and my 7 and 4 yr olds love it. Again you work up a sweat without even realizing it.

Hope that helps!
