I just started today. I am doing the Lean version. I have about 30 pounds to lose. I switched things up and tried Cardio X first. I was pretty happy I made it through MOST of it without stopping. I pooped out near the end and had to sit for a breather. Also at that point my heart rate was up to 92% of max and I was afraid I would drop dead if I didn't take a break!

Are you all following the nutrition plan as well? I did not intend to. I have began Bob Greene's diet guidelines from Make the Connection, that seems to be helping so far. I ordered his Best Life diet book from Paperback Swap so I will look into that soon.

I must agree. I got the dvd's. and Im starting them tonight as well. I'm looking to drop at least 25 pounds from this by christmas, and I was wondering if this is a reasonable goal.

Im so scarred, but excited as well.

I was also wondering who follows the nutrition guide? I know they say that's a big part of the program.

Ring,

I don't think alot of people follow it unless trying to build muscle. Crazy nutrition guides aren't sustainable. Most of us, including myself, count calories and eat clean, etc. I've lost 29 lbs in 13 weeks without any issue or the nutrition plan.

I've been lurking here, and am wondering about this set of exercises. The thread seems quiet now though. Did it move? And, where did you get your DVD's?

Also, is there a lot of jumping? I can't do that because of a cervical disc problem.

Default Modifying

Tejas: I got my P90X off Amazon. I also use an armband to hold my cell phone in so I can use CardioTrainer to count how long I do my exercise. There are some jumping in the dvds. However, you can modify. I don't like doing the huge high jumping over a towel in the Core Synergetics. Instead I do a step jump. I switched to Lean instead of Classic. Lean has less pushups!

I like P90X a lot just because I'm following a chart. I use an excel sheet I got off their website. It sounds like a lot of work but I input the information in Google Calendar and tape it to my wall. I missed a lot of days this month! That just means I'll have to extend it
