Christina, more movement helps with the soreness!! It definitely gets better. Once you push through the first 5 days, you won't be sore anymore. Haha, I think I take that back, maybe you will for recovery workouts. They are a nice 'break' but torturous too!!! But it hurts oh so good!!

Best of luck to all of you ladies!! I am on a different weight loss regimen right now. Once I get 30 pounds off, I will try Insanity again. I think my knee would appreciate not having so much weight slam down on it!!

Got back into it last night and it wasn't near as horrible as I thought it would be, seeing as how I took 2 weeks off. Tonight is Max Plyo.

I bought these supplements for my joints. They are from Iceland and are supposed to improve joint mobility and flexibility. have taken them for one week so far. The funny thing is that it is that it is basically fish oil. But like super strong fish. you have to hold your breathe when you open the bottle it smells so bad. I don't know about my joints but my hair and skin is looking better. I'm going to have to look this up.

I've been taking glucosamine but I don't notice a difference at all.

I did Max Plyo tonight, my triceps are really sore from last night's workout. 10 workouts left, not including the last fit test.

Has anyone here done P90X and Insanity? Which one is harder? I'm on week 5 of P90X so far so good.

Hi, Everyone -

I have a question for all of you...

I did the plyo cardio last night (1st time), and really struggled (in a good way). I had to sit out the ski jump abs because my form was so horrendous I thought I might hurt myself. I did *some* of the in and out abs but not all. Does anyone else have major problems with these? Did anyone else take A LOT of breaks during the workout? I tried to make them no more than 30 seconds, but there were A LOT of them.

My biggest issuse/reason I'm asking is because I am worried I did not work hard enough. I am not sore AT ALL. Was anyone else not sore? It has been a long time since I worked out this hard, so realistically I should be. I was sweating and huffing and puffing the whole time, but I did take breaks. I really need a heart rate monitor, I think that will help push me/let me know when it is okay to take breaks.

Thanks!

Hi I'm new here. I've been taking cardio kickboxing classes for three week, but I'm really busy and was looking for something I could do at home. I'm not sure if insanity is a good starting point for me. I get bored very easily. Let me know what you think.

Hi Petlover, Did you notice about half way through PLYO Cardio Shawn T turns into a crazy person? The people on the video are falling on the ground and they're in great shape to begin with!! If this is your first time then do what you can. you don't want to hurt yourself but you do want to push yourself. you will get stronger with each workout. I say this as I ice my right shin and ankle. Just finished Pure Cardio.

Day 5 and I'm feeling a better. My legs are still sore but not as much as the past few days. I have never sweated so much in my life but Ive been drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. My energy level has gone up and I'm sleeping better at night. Will post again on my off day to comment on how the first week was. Remember...Dig Deep!

I just finished my first week! I'm so glad, I need a day to rest. That pure cardio was "bananas". I don't know if I've lost any weight yet because I'm not going to weigh or measure until I finish 30 days but besides being sore, I feel great!

Hi Everyone. Im on Day 8. My off day is Saturday instead of Sunday. So I did Cardio Power and Resistance yesterday and I must say that I'm able to do more and more everyday. I still cant complete an entire dvd without stopping for a few breaks but one day I will. Tonight is Pure Cardio, that one is tough. I was thinking of substituting Cardio Recovery with something else, that DVD is boring. Hope everyone has a great week.
