The wave exerciser.
I just bought the wave exerciser by the FIRM today? Has anyone tried it? I plan on trying it tonight.

The Firm WAVE.
I hadn't gotten any reply's but looked under fitness and seen other people asking similar question with some replys. I plan on trying mine out soon.

I have owned it for over a year and honestly I just started using it about a month ago. I like using it to change things up, but honestly I liked the "fanny lifter" much better. I have to really watch my step on some of the faster moves with the wave because I don't always tend to strike right in the middle....but I tend to be more on the clumsy side too! :)
I do really like the ab workout with it.......I tend to feel soreness in my ab muscles I didn't even know existed. |
Ya know..I just came across this today and I'm really interested..I'm trying to research to see if its worth the money...VickieLou...did you try it out? How was it?

So just an update if anyone is reading this thread and wants to buy the wave. I bought it on Sunday at walmart and just returned it today. It seemed like a waste of money to me. The videos were boring and I didn't feel like I was getting a good work out. I like all of the beach body videos much better!!

That's disappointing cynthialynn, but thank you for letting us know! I seriously was going to order it, and I'm glad I didn't waste the time and money!

I bought it in the beginning of the year, hoping I would love it. Honestly, it was a big letdown. The piece of equipment itself never made me feel very stable. I just couldn't do the rocking motion without feeling like I was going to fall and knock my teeth out.
So, now I have another dust collector. *sigh* I used to love all of the FIRM dvds, but I've sort of cooled off of them. All those squats and lunges messed up my knees. |
