starfishkitty - i would start with something like A Closer 2 mile Walk, or Heart Healthy Walk. Actually, I think all the 5 mile dvds are a good place to start too bec you can start with 1 mile and work your way up.

darindkny - I have the same problem. my target doesn't carry them and I would have to drive almost 2 hours to the nearest one she shows that carries it. I don't know the solution. I WISH that they could be ordered online from Target but I don't find them online. the only other thing would be to find a friend in a city with a Target that does carry it and get them to buy it and send it to you. maybe eventually they will be available online somewhere???

So there's no actual starting video? And can you do these walks on a treadmill or are they actually stand still walks?

you do them in front of your tv. there's no way you can do them on a treadmill. it's sort of like marching in place but sooooo much more. watching a little clip of her videos at collagevideo.com would probably help see how you do it :-)

Michele - I'm glad to know that they will be available on line. which ones did you get at Target? all of them?

I haven't actually done any of the videos since the 21 since it's been nice out.

Yesterday I walked for an hour, my pedometer says it was 2.25 miles, but I swear I walk a bit faster than that (it felt like, at least 3 miles), with or without Leslie.

Today I walked 2 miles, which my guess is closer to 2.25 miles. I gotta figure out how to reconfigure my pedometer.

Regardless, I'd say my count for the month is 30. Woo!

blackdove95 - you can go to www.gmap-pedometer.com and zoom into your town, map out your route and it will calculate how far it is. I use it frequently now since the weather is warming up here. I will have to wait until then end of next month to get the new videos online. I walked the 3.5 miles yesterday for the March of Dimes walk. This week, I am hoping to get in 2 evening walks if the weather stays nice.

I walked almost 2. I wasn't feeling in today. My movements were half-hearted and I wanted to not do it at all, so I'm glad I did something. evern if it wasn't my best I still did it. Guess it's ok to have days like that? I feel run down.

I'm going to commit myself to doing 4 miles tonight or in the morning. I need to stop procrastinating.
