No WATP this weekend. We spent over 7 hours Saturday sitting at my daughter's volleyball tournament. I'm sure I burned off SOMETHING with the adrenalin while they battled it out in some very close matches! In the end, they lost in the semi-finals.

Spent yesterday afternoon shopping for a homecoming dress with my daughter. Didn't find one. After supper, hubby invited me for a walk, which we hadn't done in quite a while. We went over 1.5 miles, but not sure exactly how far. Will try to get back to more formal fitness this afternoon.

I'm resurfacing from my Summer of hiding. I got up and did the 4 Big Miles today. I've been doing 1 & 2 milers. This really took it out of me! Wow!

hey gang
I feel like i need to check in. Sunday I pulled something in my back and yesterday I could barely stand up and sit down. I babied it all day yesterday and that night it was starting to ease up. I set my alarm for 5 this morning hoping that I could just walk - no knee lifts or kicks backs - just walk for 2 miles, bec I really think that walking helps lower back pain - even tho I think this is more of a pull than a "pain", but I was having trouble even getting my socks and shoes on this morning. By the time I got them on, I could barely walk LOL soooooooooo I did not get in my exercise this morning. I am feeling better this afternoon so maybe by tomorrow morning I'll be able to walk. It seems like there is always a little snag in the road here lately, but I'm not gonna let it keep me off course.

I hope everybody has a great day!

I got my 5 Day Slim Down yesterday, too! Couldn't fit it in last night, but I didn't have much trouble getting up this morning to do it! I chose the warm-up and mile 1 (all I had time for). Looks like it will be another good one!

good morning gang

cbmare - I meant to tell you yesterday that we're really glad to see you again! we've been missing you!!!

my back is better this morning. not what it should be but still good enough to push myself to walk.

I walked 2 miles. I used the new 5 Day Slim Down and did the Warm Up, Classic Walk and Sculpt Your Arms miles, which are the first 2 miles on the dvd. I also watched Leslie make a bunch of yummy looking breakfasts LOL

Michele - how early do you have to get up in order to walk in the morning?

PurdueGirl - how's your walking going?

hope everybody has a great day!
hugs,
Cathy

Cathy: If I'm up by 6, I can get 2 miles done before I need to shower for work (unless I have an early meeting or the kids need to be at school early). Maybe this new workout will re-motivate me to GET UP! That's been my problem lately.

Thanks, Cathy.

I dragged myself up this morning and did the WAT Stress video.

I have to keep telling myself what I did last year - "It's all for ME!" "It's all for ME!" "It's all for ME!"

hey gang

I did 3 miles this morning. I used the new 5 Day Slim Down dvd and did the Warm Up, Classic Walk, Trim Your Tummy and Speed Walk. that was 3 miles in 40 minutes....well plus the 5 minutes to warm up...so that was still 45 minutes.

what's everybody else doing today? we are watching IKE big time. We will probably be on the right side of it and everybody is in full panic mood this morning. I'm praying we don't hit hard by it.

hope everybody has a great day!
hugs,
cathy

Did the entire 5 Day Slim Down this morning! I got so sweaty, my HRM wasn't connecting properly with my skin, so the reading is rather low. I KNOW I burned more than 300 calories!

Hope everyone in Ike's path is OK!
